I just reinstalled Gore since I arrived in the God forsakin land of Indiana, and thats been just over a month, i prolly played a total of 5 hours in 5 weeks, I dont play Tact simply because I dont have the patiance for it, and it seems thats where most of the people are playing.

Well Gump..You n00b.Imageshack is the last place I would EVER have a pic hosted..they have banned almost ALL warez sites and Porn sites.. I gave ya a pic hosted on Bad-Catts server.. Of course, you dont have sigs like Me .. have a nice LAME ASSS SIG LIFE..

Nobody is in those servers. I dont like Tact, i dont like the wait between rounds, I wanna kill either individually or with a team and get on with the next map.. I cbf with the stalking and waiting shit in Tact.
But thats just me.

Well now instead of Gore II or Gang Wars, he's decided to put Gore 1 out with Ads (MP only) in order to attract revenue and people to lead up to a possible Gore II. I guess it's a better idea since most of us like Gore to begin with.

Well the good thing is that there will be people playing again, I assume my copy of Gore without ads will stay the same, I wonder if any of those servers will stay up.

And speaking of servers, who the fuk is gonna run all the servers for this?
Is @S7 going to switch their Euro servers to a ad supported game?

Something to think about, Clans pay money for servers and Joel gets money because they are running the servers..brilliant scam really (Y) .

I dont like to chat during games..I play to have some fun and relieve some stress, I know who Beckler is, he has been around since GT1.

This new thing that Joel is doing (If it ever happins) would be nice for a while, but he is gonna beg for people to put servers up that they pay for to run his ad based game..
I hate that fucker, I really do.
I dont trust him, and whatever he is doing is somehow gonna be a scam, I dont know if the prick ever told the real truth whats going on ever in the 4D forums, I lost all faith in him after he begged (and got) cash the last time he was gonna make GoreII..did any of those people ever get their cash back? Or did Joel just spend it on nutrition supplements :x .

I never gave the fucker a dime, although I have fun playing his game and I bought several copies, the first one for $10 and the rest for$5 at a computer show to give to friends thats about where it ended with me giving Joel cash.

Is it legal?

Well his track record isnt that good, actually it doesnt matter to me if he scames millions from people or if he turns legit and releases some ad based version of Gore..
But what bothers me really is he want others to spend money to run servers for him, im sure he will put some up but the clan run servers are going to be paying for servers that actually have spam in them.
If this takes off then the original Gore will be dead for good, im sure people will miss it after a while...all 100 or so players that play now :P

Somehow im sure Joel will find a way to fuck this up.

Yeah, I did. It's not a lot but whatever, you know? I figured I'd do a good deed and help someone out...but not enough towhere I really give a crap whether or not I get any ROI or even that fifty bucks back.

I don't believe anybody who gave him money the first time got their money back. I know one of the biggest donors, Cartman, didn't get anything because I very recently read a post by Joel hella begging cartman for some money on this project and said "I'd even sign a promisary note to pay back the previous money you gave me if you helped me out again" ... as if he never planned on returning the favor in the firstplace. That was pretty gay to read. Cartman didn't give him any money though, citing that he's no longer in the financial position to be turning his money to risky investments.
