SUPER AWESOME TRIX IVE BEEN WHORING TO MYSELF ALL THESE YEARS: custom bind set for each character class.
HOW TO DO:
go to \gorerules\interface\client\Menu and open interface.god
click edit, go to find, type umc1 and hit enter
you should see this
@MenuGraph "umc1" {
add_command="show clearprofiles"
add_command="hide clearprofiles"
add_command="playermodel scout"
add_command="show profile1"
add in this command
add_command="load sniper.cfg"
do the same for each player (umc2, umc3, mob1, etc..)
make sure you change the cfg for each class (eg: chick.cfg, medium.cfg, etc)
now go in your settings folder and create the cfgs (mech.cfg, medium.cfg, chick.cfg, sniper.cfg, heavy.cfg)
inside each, make any custom weapon binds or anything you want
example:
bind delete:[weapon1]
bind end:[weapon2]
bind pgdn:[weapon8]
crosshair 17
now when I click on the scout, it will load this config file and ill have a new set of weapon binds and my crosshair of choice for the scout.

This is pretty damn cool IMO...gonna try it soon. I like how you can bind the major weapons in the same keybind so you always have a reliable key to open up the best weapon and on down the line. I've hit the limit of how good I can get with wheelmouse. Most of the time I do fine but I kinda cbf with it anymore because it takes longer.
<3 DiDlZ. :)
I'll have to put a "How-To" section on Durex-Inc and have you post this. FUCK another goddamn thing to add to durex-inc *eek probably wont get to it :F

I'll need to set this up too, I thought it was kinda worthless, but after thing, you could bind the scout, and medium's main weapons to the same key, and pistols, c4/grenades. Pretty awesome, thanks.

That was the main reason I even posted this. It also lets you use a different crosshair for each character class. I have DELETE, END, and PGDN bound to the weapons for each character, and then NUMPAD7 is the rocketlauncher because it seems I always get ahold of one of those every round too.

Duno which ones I'll use yet. Now I wish I had more buttons on my mouse lol.
I've always been tempted to have a bind for slowing my mouse movement so I can make a more precise shot w/ sniper rifle. My mouse, I mean trackball, is a lil jumpy cause it has a low DPI.
Sometimes I crouch & have to use the keyboard mvmt to get a more precise shot, cause my trackball can't cut it.

wut happens when you pick up a gun :gay:
it's a good idea, just 3 years too late to be useful in any kind of good match.

Logitech G7 ftw :)
It has a + and - button under the mousewheel to increase and decrease the DPI. You can bind 5 settings...I've included a SS to show what my settings are.
I typically play with a higher DPI and then snipe in the lowest, but sometimes I forget to change back to the higher one and thus it throws off my gameplay and retardedly I don't know why it feels all different :S lol.

For those of you who were confused by Didlz' explaination or didn't get around to doing this...
http://www.durex-inc.com/index.php?p=downloads_profile&did=82
It's automated and will self-install this MOD (there's also an automatic uninstall file included). You can bind whatever you want from thereafter from the files in your settings folder.
didlz rox IMO. Been using this for awhile now, and I could never play with out it at this point. Duno why I switched weapons with the wheelmouse for so long.

I think you would want the highest DPI possible but set the mouse setting lower. Maybe that's the same thing, but I thought setting the mouse setting is different than changing the DPI.
Higher DPI should give you the finest grain of control, detecting extremely small physical movements. Changing the mouse speed in the OS should just interpret those movements as representing a smaller movement on screen.

I think that's the same thing just in reverse.
The mouse has buttons on it (that's what I was talking about with "binding") which increases or decreases the DPI...which in turn makes the cursor more or less sensitive...so I don't think the mouse speed on windows really does much to help or hinder since you can just press a button on the mouse.
It works out good for me...I have it towhere I'm most comfortable.
